Frequently Asked Questions

What types of slings does South Texas Slings offer?

We currently offer three leather sling collections: our Genuine Double Culatta Bullhide (black or brown), the Crazy Horse Water Buffalo, and the El Jefe American Bison collection. We also make our Bow Sling and the Model 100 Gun Sock.

How do I determine the correct size of sling for my needs?

Don’t sweat it, we have you covered. Our Slings are fully adjustable and will accommodate any seat.

What is the typical lead time for receiving slings after placing an order?

If your sling is in stock, it ships within 3 to 5 business days. When an item is out of stock, it’s individually handmade to order and ships in 4 to 6 weeks. The note under the product photos shows which applies before you order.

What if I don’t have a seat back pocket on my truck?

No worries. We offer 2 Mounting Options! Remove Holster Clips and install on rear seat headrests when you don’t plan on having any passengers!

Do you offer any warranties or guarantees on your slings?

We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty because we believe in the Quality of our products. If you experience any failures due to quality of materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace at no cost to you.

How should I clean and maintain my South Texas Slings products?

Regular dusting and a simple wipe with a damp cloth from time to time will certainly suffice. A soft leather cream can nourish, hydrate and preserve natural beauty. Can also be used to remove light scratches.

What is the return policy for products purchased from South Texas Slings?

We offer a 30-Day Return Policy. If you’re not happy for any reason you can return for a Full Refund. Shipping charges may apply

Are there any training resources available for using slings safely and effectively?

We DO NOT recommend using our product with Loaded Firearms. We offer installation videos on our Instagram page that will guide you on how to install for optimum performance in the field.
